HOW TO ENTER

ULTIMATE STILLNESS online exhibition open call

What does stillness mean to you? How can you represent silence?

the brief:
Margaret Sharrow is an artist exploring these questions and has an online proposal to create ULTIMATE STILLNESS at the North Pole (to read more and vote for her proposal, see
http://www.blogyourwaytothenorthpole.com/entries/166). As a prelude to heading to the Arctic, she is organising an online exhibition of images of stillness and silence that is open to all.

what to do:

Represent stillness or silence in any medium. Send e-mail to ultimatestillness@gmail.com with 'open call 1' in subject line. Attach up to 3 .jpg files (maximum 300kb) OR 1 .mp4 file (maximum 60 seconds & size under 12mb). Please also include your name, city/town, country, title & medium.

DEADLINE:

NOW EXTENDED to 1 March 2011.

terms & conditions:

Artists chosen for the interventions will be contacted in advance and fully credited. [Please note change from previous version of this posting, which gave dates of February - June 2011 for the interventions.]

By submitting an entry as described above, you consent for your image to be posted on the ULTIMATE STILLNESS website (http://ultimatestillness.blogspot.com/). You also consent for your image to be considered for use in interventions organised and executed by Margaret Sharrow. You will be informed by e-mail of the proposed date and location of such interventions. For more information, see ULTIMATE STILLNESS exhibition FAQs.
